Position Papers
From time to time, AAMD publishes papers on topics of interest to those working in or studying the art museum field and to help non-museum professionals understand museum practice. These documents address questions that may surround a particular area of art museum operations and the considerations museum leaders should weigh when faced with that issue. Unlike AAMD's Professional Practices in Art Museums, or the guidelines the Association has issued (see Reports below), these papers are not statements of policy.
